Fishing in Malibu This unknown man was fishing from the rocks just off the parking lot to Gladstone's Restaurant in Malibu as we exited on a July evening in 2004. Luckily, he hauled in this shark at the right time and posed for my camera just as a wave broke on the rocks behind him!

A Summer Day on Grand Mesa A beautiful early summer day in mid-July on a quiet lake at the top of Grand Mesa in Western Colorado. This shot was taken just off the highway while driving through the National Forest on Grand Mesa. Grand Mesa is the known for being the largest flat-topped mountain in the world with an area of approximately 500 square miles.
